Construction of a new building

After 40 years, the buildings on our campsite are due for replacement. That is why the building that used to house the reception, supermarket and restaurant is currently being replaced by a new and sustainable central building. In this new building you will soon find our reception, supermarket and restaurant (with a large terrace on the west!). 

Unfortunately, this new central building will not be operational at the start of the new camping season on April 1, 2023. That is why during the first weeks of the season things will look a little different than you are used to.

Good to know...

• We hope to be able to open our new central building on May 17, 2023.
• Until then you will find the reception and supermarket in a temporary building. So you can come to us every day for delicious fresh bread rolls and your groceries.
• During the weekends there will be a food truck on site. This way you can easily pick up something tasty to eat at the campsite if you don't feel like cooking yourself. Prefer to sit inside? Katwijk has many nice restaurants and beach pavilions where you can enjoy a delicious meal!
• The playground must be moved, but this can only be done after completion of the work around the new building. We will of course do our utmost to realize a new playground as soon as possible, but there is a possibility that we will not have a playground available during the first weeks of the new camping season.
• In the 2023 season you can still use the current sanitary building, starting from 2024 you will find the sanitary facilities in the basement of our new building.
